About Mo

Mo started as an internal fix at Advante, our software agency.

We kept running into the same problem. The team would agree on something in Slack — a rule, a constraint, a product decision — and weeks later a pull request would break it. Nobody noticed until QA or production.

The decision was right there in the channel. The code just never got checked against it.

So we built Mo.

You tag @mo to approve a decision in Slack, and Mo checks every PR against it before merge. There’s no new process — just the channel your team already uses.

Mo doesn’t review code quality. It doesn’t care if your code is clean. It only checks if it’s correct.

Mo is part of Motionode, a product built by Advante, a US-based software company.

We build SaaS products and internal systems for companies that move fast. Mo was developed from our own workflow and used internally across 12+ production projects before being released.

We’re based in New Jersey and work with teams in the US and internationally.
